panoramic aerial photograph of Dolbadarn Castle Llanberis Pass Wales, built by Llwelyn Fawr sometime around 1225, the castle was taken by Edward I who then dismantled parts of it to build Caernarfon Castle. What remained was used as a Manor House until the late middle ages. The castle became a picturesque ruin attracting artists such as JMW Turner who painted it in 1799 and me to take this photograph in 2008.
